it doesnt matter... the rules say you can go over the cap to sign any of your own players and still use the MLE to sign another player and the LLE as well.

Yep, I complained about this from the very start. In the real NBA teams wouldn't match an offer like that becaues it would destroy them in the future. But since we don't have to worry about the future really, then they don't care. Chicago is pretty much doing the same thing. I say if they are doing this, they should get the MLE taken away. I don't even get a MLE. Why?, because I watch my cap and make sure I don't go over it?

Well you said the only way to attain him was through sign and trade. I don't think anyone is going to trade for a contract like that anymore.
