which conference do you think is the superior one? in real life i would say the east...but i think that the game is a different story...
sure the east has some very good teams like the pistons, nets, magic, and cleveland. but the west has some serious fire power with the spurs, memphis, pheonix, dallas, lakers, and clippers... what do you guys think?

East:
1. Detroit Pistons 2. Cleveland Cavaliers 3. Miami Heat 4. Indiana Pacers 5. New Jersey Nets
West:
1. San Antonio Spurs 2. Dallas Mavericks 3. Los Angeles Clippers 4. Memphis Grizzlies 5. Phoenix Suns (when they get amare back, probably 2 or 3.)
im not going by records, just who i believe are the top 5 teams in each conference. take your pick, i like the east

the cavs are not the second best team in the east...im not even sure if detroit is the best...im really high on the pacers...even though i hate them!! 1- Detroit 2- Pacers 3- Heat 4- Cavs 5- Nets 1- Spurs 2- Mavs 3- 4- 5- the west is up for grabs...most of the top teams from years ago are on the decline...the east is on the rise big time...soon they will take their rightful spot as the far superior conference

the pistons remain the best in the east until proven otherwise, and im not falling for miami's stacked team (a worse scenario then the 03-04 lakers) and the "new, better pacers" with artest back, is the same pacers team we beat in 03-04 minus reggie and we didnt have mcdyess or evans. so im not worried about the pacers at all. and cleveland is the second best east team, trust me. hughes, bron, gooden, marshall, damon jones, its a dynamic offense, and the players are still getting used to each other. but dallas you are right, the east is becoming the dominant conference

the pacers arent that much better. ron artest can not make the pacers that much better, the pistons have maurice evans, antonio mcdyess, and plenty of other bench players to go along with a whole improved starting 5.

Yes he can. He is the best player on the Pacers because of what he does on both sides of the court, offense and defense. Easily one of the best defensive players in the game, and has a great offensive game. Ron Artest would make any team that much better. Even the Raptors.

Bingo....Ron Artest is a GREAT player...and if you dont think that he would have a huge effect on whatever team he plays for you are out of your mind!

im not saying hes not a great player, im saying the pacers are still the same old pacers. sure, they may have improved, but so have the pistons. i still put detroit above indiana. but indy has lost reggie. maybe thats good though:

the pistons have improved greatly also, dont underestimate them. i know i keep on saying maurice evans, but Maurice Evans is probably one of the best players to come off the bench in the league (not the best, one of the best) to go along with mcdyess, arroyo, delfino, milicic, maxiell, dale davis, lindsey hunter, amir johnson. we have one of the deepest benches as well. all of the pistons players have matured greatly, look at rip and tayshaun prince not to mention how much better chauncey has gotten. and speaking of maturity, rasheed wallace has got to be the most matured player in the league in the last 3 years. and i dont think ron artest has matured that much sense last year. just my opinion
