This is the first trade of the season. I'll explain the trading process a bit..
This is the format each trade should be in:
Team 1 sends: Person (salary) Team 2 sends: Person (salary), Person (salary)
The trades must work under salary cap restrictions. That means if you take the total of each two outgoing salaries, they must be within 25% of eachother. In this case, $5,117,880 + $2,157,096 = $7,274,976. ($7,274,976 * 0.25) + $7,274,976 = $9,093,720. That number is the max amount of salary you can take in, so the incoming salary for my team must be equal to or below that number. $7,500,000 + $1,000,000 = $8,500,000, therefore, the trade works under the salary cap.
We are doing a 2 for 2 trade, so it obviously works under the roster limits also. If it was a 2 for 1 I would have to check to make sure the team taking on 2 people has the roster space to do so.
Now, because I posted the trade, it automatically means I accept it (why else would I post it?). Now, we have to wait on the other GM that I am trading with, in this case Philadelphia 76ers, to get on and reply in this trade saying "I accept."
After he does that, we will need 3 committee members to say they accept the trade. If the trade involves a committee member, their acceptance to their trade counts as a committee member vote.
Therefore, each trade should have at most 4 replies, please don't reply to submitted trades saying if you think they are fair or not. If you want, you can make a new thread about a trade you don't like or do like in the GM League Discussion forum.
