the #8 will put in more impact in it's first year than Darko's 2 years combined.

It doesn't matter, nobody needs to explain themselves for their trades.
I am locking this topic, Seattle - as soon as you update Salary, Draft Picks, and Depth chart I will finalize this, the trade works.
Golden State, if you want, you can start a topic on Darko in the discussion forums, I'll glady put my insight on him.

the #8 will put in more impact in it's first year than Darko's 2 years combined. Good thing Seattle didn't make this trade 2 years ago then. People develop, they get better, believe it or not. Have you ever heard of Jermaine O'Neal? He is some forward on the Pacers. He was drafted by the Blazers, and after 4 years he had career averages of 3.7 points, 3,1 rebounds, 0.7 blocks in about 11 minutes. He was traded to Indiana, and showed promise, 12.9 points and 9.8 rebounds, and then before you know it he's a consistant 20 and 10 guy with 2.5 blocks. Then there is Darko, he put up a weak 1.6 points per game, 1.0 rebound, 0.5 blocks, in about 5 minutes and then was traded to Orlando and showed some potential.. 7.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 blocks in 20 minutes. We will see how this story ends.
