Howard is a young SF with alot of potential and has carried the load for the Mavericks at times. He also clears up some salary space.

Howard is a nice young player...but thats about it...he will never be even half the overall player pierce is...and trust me...pierce doesn't get the respect he deserves because he isn't the athletic freak that LeBron, Kobe, or even Wade is...and he plays on a really young team that has not even come close to his peak...but believe this...he is just as good as any of those players. he is worth much more than a good role player and a few salary dumps....

yes but it will be atleast 4 weeks, plus atleast another week id say after that because he will move from unplayable to playable, but still injured. and who knows, maybe someone else will get hurt during that time and put you out every longer.

he makes the trade go through on the day its accepted. he does simulation sessions, so it maybe the december 31, and you post it and it gets accepted on january second, then he doesnt make that trade until the 2nd in the game. since it wasnt accepted by 3 committee members, it isnt finalized yet which resulted in him getting injured.
