Are the rumors true that you are trading Boris Diaw for the 7th pick overall in the 2006 draft?

No. Anybody who knows me knows I love Boris Diaw. Diaw is not going anywhere. He brings alot to this team and I feel with him being the Most Improved Player, we are in really good shape for next year. Nobody in this draft really interests me. I would like the 7th pick in the draft, however, Diaw will remain a Piston.

Now, you're the 2006 NBA Champs. Are you looking to make any trades this off-season? or are you going to keep the same team going into the 07 season?

I have said before that I plan to keep my team intact. I want to keep most of my players on my team and make only minor changes. I believe I have a team capable of winning it all again. I will do what is best for my team, however I want to hold on to as many pieces of this years team as I can.

I am very confident in my team and there are many great teams out there right now and many teams on the rise. For now I will enjoy my championship. I expect to be in the running again and a repeat is not out of question. But to answer your question truthfully, no, I have no reason to fear these teams yet.

Kobe Bryant will remain a Piston. His job is secure here in Detroit along with others. I will repeat though that I will do what is best for my team, however, I want to hold on to him. I gurantee Kobe will stay a Piston for a very long time.

I think it looks pretty cool. Yeah, I'm in favor of it.
If that is all the questions then this concludes the conference.
