Backcourt Detroit Hinrich and Bryant will outrun, outscore, out-defend Parker and Spreewell. Frontcourt Detroit Artest/Garnett vs. Prince/Martin. Artest and Garnett are without a doubt the better combo here. Bench Detroit Dunleavy, Mcdyess, Diaw, McInnis lead a bench that goes pretty deep. Cleveland will be in trouble here. Coaching Detroit Flip Saunders has far more experience than Micheal Jordan. Intangibles Detroit Detroit is really hot and swept the Pacers. They have the momentum here.
Bottom line: Cleveland should be a good warm-up series for the Pistons who might be facing the Magic soon. Pistons in 5...if Cleveland gets lucky...

those are playoff stats. Note that Ratliff was out most of the series, and Artest for the whole series.

Parker vs. Hinrich (I'll take Parker) Sprewell vs. Kobe (Obviously Kobe is the better player here) Prince vs. Artest (When players come back from injury they aren't very good so obviously i'll take Prince) K-Mart vs. Garnett (Obviously Garnett is the better offensive player, but the Defensive Player of the year should be able to slow him down. Garnett gets a slight edge) Shaq vs. Ratliff or another bum (Hahahahahaha, this is why I will take the series)
Bottom Line: K- Mart can slow down Garnett and Prince can slow down Kobe. You don't have anyone that has a chance of slowing down Shaq.)
I'm not going to be stupid like Detroit and say he'll be lucky if i don't sweep. I say Cleveland in 7.

ok so lets look at it this way. martin slows down the 26 PPG garnett, to say, 20 PPG. but isnt garnett almost as good as martin defensively? so garnett slows martins 12 or so PPG to like 8 PPG. artest is a far better defender then prince. i love prince and am a huge pistons fan but i wont make the mistake of saying prince is better. ratliff is of good a defensive center as they come with only a couple of people better then him there. bryant is a very underrated defensive player, after all i do believe he made NBA 2nd team defensively in this league. hinrich isnt bad at defense either, and makes up for what he lacks on the offensive side. and i actually have a bench, so i can bring in the defensive diaw, post player mcdyess, or even the great shooting dunleavy off my bench. i can rest my starters. shaq cant go 48 minutes against ratliff, coleman, mcdyess, and laettner. and he cant make up for everyone else on your team. so in short, whatever or however much you slow down my guys, they slow down yours just as much. and my team is, without any question, much more talented on the offensive end

Ratliff doesn't even play in the league anymore, so NO he isn't still a good player. K-Mart was Defensive Player of the Year so obviously Garnett isn't as good there.

kmart might of played better this year in the game, but garnett is better period. offensively and maybe even defensively.
basically what ive been trying to say is no matter how much you slow down my players my guys slow yours down just as much. not to mention your guys should get tired and i have decent bench, and my team is better offensively. i think i have an underrated defensive team

Looking over my matchup with Denver, these comparisons of who can stop who and whos better than what player doesn't mean anything at all. You would obviously think that Melo and Manu are 50x better than Josh Smith and Korver but it wasnt the case. Guys will step up, and some guys will dissappear and won't live up to how they played during the season.

I think Detroit will take the series, his team is too strong. I just think Cleveland will give him a run for his money.

This series will be good, and although Mo Town's bench dosn't take your breath away, CHA had more production at of thier bench than CLE. It has to come back to bite the Cavs at some point. DET in 6 or 7.

I wasn't aware that a 7 point win was considered close. That is what we call a solid victory. 1 game doesn't mean much, but this won't be a walk in the park for the all mighty Detroit.
