Phoenix 107 Lakers 118
The Lakers won this game because of the hot-shooting Tim Thomas and all around great game from Baron Davis. Mourning played great defense on Amare, practically shutting him out offensively. Jamison had an all around great game offensively, but was very poor defensively which could have cost them the game if it wasn't for Thomas and Davis. Hughes was a non-factor all game, being abused by Gordon.
Phoenix was out of the game from the start. The new addition of Gilbert Arenas hasn't proved to be paying off yet, but it is only 1 game and he still has time to gell with his new team. The Suns played a really good game overall, but had immense trouble guarding the 3 point line, they allowed Davis and Thomas to beat them with their 3 point shooting.
POTG: Baron Davis
