Im not trying to discourage posting in the game threads, but this can be a competition. Best overall record wins a prize determined at a later date. So heres the bracket, and please follow the format that i post, it will be easier to correct. For information on each series, go to each series individual thread, it will contain regular season stats, along with Depth Charts for either team. Happy Bracketing!

Detroit, your bracket is not correct. it would be impossible for dallas to play san antonio in the West final because Dallas is #4 and San Antonio is #1. They would play in the West semi-finals. Go ahead and modify your bracket so that you dont automaticly lose that game.

Are you going to make like each round worth different point?
Like each one you get right in the 1st round = 2 points Each one right in the second round = 4 points You pick the right conference final winner = 6 points You pick the right champion 8 points

Like each one you get right in the 1st round = 2 points Each one right in the second round = 4 points You pick the right conference final winner = 6 points You pick the right champion 8 points well, i dont know if its going to matter. everyone so far has both conferences quarterfinals the exact same. not a lot of difference between everyones picks. but, to answer your question, yes, thats how it will go.

I'll be honest, I'm not so sure about my chances anymore after the emergences of SAS, DET, and MIA, but I have to go with the team I built, plus everyone else went with their own teams. I might get lucky and everyone else has a lot of injuries.

I got an idea for what the prize should be, the prize should be the team who predicts every thing correct, should have the right to release one crappy player from their roster as well as the player's salary not counting aganist teams.
Like HOU with Swift at 19 mil, and ATL with Dalembert, or SEA with Vlade Rad with their 11 mil, if they win they could release them and not have to pay remainder of the player's contract, OR YOU JUST TELL THE TEAMS TO PAY HALF THEIR SALARY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THEIR CONTRACTS.
As for my predictions this is what I have
2007 NBA Playoffs
Western Conference 1st rd. #1 San Antonio Spurs vs. #8 Golden State Warriors SAS in 6
#2 Phoenix Suns vs. #7 Los Angeles Lakers as much as I hate the Suns here and real life, it's PHX in 7
#3 Portland Trailblazers vs. #6 Los Angeles Clippers upset special, Clippers in 7
#4 Dallas Mavericks vs. #5 Denver Nuggets Mavs in 6
Eastern Conference
#1 Detroit Pistons vs. #8 Cleveland Cavaliers DET in 5
#2 Miami Heat vs. #7 Indiana Pacers MIA in 5
#3 Orlando Magic vs. #6 Atlanta Hawks ORL in 6
#4 New Jersey Nets vs. #5 Chicago Bulls Bulls in 7
2nd rd.
West SAS vs DAL SAS in 7
PHX vs LAC PHX in 6
East
DET vs Bulls DET in 6
MIA vs ORL MIA in 7
Conf. Finals
SAS vs PHX SAS in 7
DET vs MIA DET in 7
Finals SAS vs DET DET again in a extremely close game 7, with Kobe hitting the game winning 3 to win it all for DET.
SAS vs

maybe we could have figured out a prize to give if everyone submitted one before the playoffs started
