Before anyone signs any new free agents, let's all make our predictions for the finals next year. I'm going with..
San Antonio vs Orlando
There's quite a few teams with a real chance of being in there. I'll ask this poll again at the end of FA, around all star break, and before playoffs begin.

here are my WESTERN CONFRENCE playoff predictions. remember that there is a new format for the playoffs.
1- San Antonio 2- Dallas 3- Pheonix
those are easily the 3 best teams...then i think that there is a pretty big drop off talent wise because some teams have some huge holes to fill.
4- Portland 5- Memphis 6- Clippers 7- Nuggets 8- New Orleans

I guess i'll just have to prove to teams that the "talent drop" ain't that deep at all. Grr I want Phoenix this year again in the playoffs..!!

I dunno it all depends in the game. I didnt even have Yao and Mac against the Denver series..and Korver and Stoudamire scored all my points so ya. Thats why i think i just have the right amount of depth especially at my sg position with Korver/Miller.
lol..umm..Having crap loads of talent doesnt mean anything. If Memphis can accompolish more than the both of us during the playoffs then anything can happen.

the reason why memphis beat me is because steve francis was my pg, maggette was my sg, and jamison was my sf. they were are out of their natural positions.
the team that i have now is much better than the one i had last year.

Or...or maybe Memphis was just a stronger team??? I dunno man sometimes a duo is better then a bunch of all stars. All the players you mentioned are all good..but what makes them good players is because they have the versatility to play more than 1 position??..i dunno lol thats what i think. Pau and Baron were untouchable duo even better then the duo i have (in the game last year).

All the players you mentioned are all good..but what makes them good players is because they have the versatility to play more than 1 position??..i dunno lol thats what i think. Pau and Baron were untouchable duo even better then the duo i have (in the game last year). once i switched up my team from being Miller, Brand, Jamison, Maggette, Francis to Miller Brand, Maggette, Francis, Jackson i came back and almost won the series. its all about playing your best players in their natural positions! Barron just tore my defense apart...but now i feel that my defense is much stronger with a front court of Miller, Brand, and Odom. and there is no way that he could ever shut down bibby the way he did Francis. Bibby is to good of a play maker. the team that i have this year is much more a "team" than what i had last year. I now have the key role players that i just diddnt have last season. Watch Francis explode this year now that he can move with out the ball and look to create his own shot rather than being a play maker...we have Bibby to do that now. Odom is gunna make a HUGE difference also. he imo is one of if not the most underrated players in the league! he is a tripe double threat every night!

Cleveland will not be a 5-6 seed. they only have 7 people right now, they cant even qualify to make the summer league, let alone the real league. virtually no point guard. they have redd, who can only shoot, but is still a good player. prince, who is good at everything, but his ratings will take a hit. shaqs ratings are definately going down, the man is in serious decline. has a good start but is missing so many pieces

Lol I see.....I think you certainly have a shot right now. If you are able to acquire one more scoring threat to add to your lineup it certainly wouldn't hurt.
