I got NBA Live 06 for the PC, and it could make simming games a lot easier. We could go with 1 of 2 methods, if we chose to do this for NBA Live 07. Hit the save button, which saves the box score as a text file. We could then upload that straight to the website. An example file would be.. www.freewebs.com/gmleaguerumors/bxscr000.txtThat would be relatively easy, hitting save for each game played, and it would be easier to upload because you can upload multiple files at a time. However, 82 games times 30 teams, thats over 2400 files.. that's a lot of times having to upload crap haha Another method, which would take more time and space, but maybe look nicer, would be taking screen shots of each teams score, for example, in the same game.. [Note: I resized it to 480 x 360, which I still think is readable, and lowered the quality to 0, to lower the filesize and improve loading times for people with dialup modems]This method would mean they would have to hit print screen, open a picture editor program, paste it, resize it possibly like I did, and save it, and then upload it. A lot more time consuming, but better looking. I am really considering buying NBA Live 07 for PC, and I might be interested in simming it myself if people like this idea a lot better than the old version.

With images? Or saved uploading box scores? How do you guys like that in the other league? Does it work well? Is it too much of a hassle for him?

I love the computer version option for simulations. It allows you to view each and every games boxscores (if the simulator does that).

Plus if you have a messenger, like MSN or Yahoo, and a webcam, you can watch your games live. I was in the finals in that league as the Charlotte Bobcats and I watched all my games live.
You also are able to get cool screen shots like 3 point champion presentation, dunk contest champion presentation, and other cool options you couldnt get without the computer version. Also it makes putting the team stats, MVP Races, Player of the Month awards, etc. alot easier as its just a click save, copy and paste away rather then typing it all out.

www.freewebs.com/nbagmleague0506/index.htmThat is the site we used last year for simulations. Detroit, I don't have a webcam so I wouldn't be able to do that if it was me, but I could post the box scores in a text file like the examples I used, I don't think I would use pictures for box scores, but I would take pictures of special events like 3 point contest, Finals games, etc

I like the idea of using NBA Live 07. I'd obviously prefer posting screenshots as opposed to just plain box scores, but I'm sure whoever would be doing the sims (I assume you) has more important things to do than post screenshots.
Another option would be to pick a game every day/week and call it the "Game of the Day/Week" and have extensive coverage of that game. Screenshots could be taken from the game's boxscore and from highlights from the game itself. It's just another alternative that I guess would be a "compromise" between the two.

I like suns idea, however I say make sure every team gets atleast 1 "game of the week" so we can all experiance the cool screen shots and see our players. Either way you do it. It looks really cool.

In addition to "Game of the Week", you could use screenshots to display stats, playoff races, standings, and coverage of other events like All-Star weekend. We could make it look somewhat professional and have special coverage for players just after a trade or if something out of the ordinary took place.

In the other league that was how we simmed it, by uploading the box scores. It's much better.

Yah, it's alot better because you can see all the box scores, and in the playoffs people can watch the games if they want.

IF the simmer broadcasts the live games on an instant messenger, has a webcam, AND agrees to sit down for the whole game and watch them. Quite time consuming

Yah, the watching part isn't really important, but seeing the box scores of every game is why it is good.
