He was a 2nd round pick so Im pretty sure that once his rookie contract expires in this league he is then a RFA but in the real NBA after the rookie contracts expire they become UFA. That is the major difference. At least that is my understanding from what I have heard from San Antonio.

That is the major difference. At least that is my understanding from what I have heard from San Antonio. I just looked up some information about Mo Williams. He was drafted by the Jazz and became a restricted free agent, but the Jazz didn't match the Bucks offer so they let him leave. Now he is an unrestricted free agent.
