If you indeed trade one of these two. What would you be looking for.

What made you suddenly decide to take Conley and Horford when early draft boards had you taking Yi Jilian and Brendan Wright?

Was taking Conley and Horford a business move? We know that Utah needs a PG.

Was taking Conley and Horford a business move? We know that Utah needs a PG. But, looking at his team, he does too.

Was taking Conley and Horford a business move? We know that Utah needs a PG. Utah will not be held hostage. I might have taken conley at 6, but there are other PGs out there

Yes we did want Wright but potential isnt always sure and we feel Horford can give us 15ppg and 8 rpg a night and be consistent. After trading harris we knew we needed a PG and we didnt want to spend big on a FA so we took conley. Of course we need a center but at #4 Yi Yilian wasnt worth the pick to us. We are will to trade horford for maybe a #7-10 pick and a scrub in it. But conley will most likely stay in the Green. Buisness no we just needed a point and conley was the best. FA has plenty of swing men so it wasnt worth drafting a swing man at #3 or #4 either.

So as a result your trade looks like this right now.....
Boston sends: #10 pick #14 pick #16 pick Devin Harris ($3,995,003 for 07/08)
Minnesota sends: Al Hortford Marko Jaric ($7,600,000 for 07/08)
Can you explain how that helps your team at all?

Horford will start PF and is better at that position than any other player available at #10 and conley is a great replacement for harris.

#6, #8 Steve Blake $1,000,000 Robert Horry $600,000 Nick Van Exel $2,000,000
so you got that for #4 #10 pick #14 pick #16 pick Devin Harris ($3,995,003 for 07/08)
the fans would like an explaination.

Harris was about to hit FA and command lots of money. The double digit picks were going to be decent players but not who we wanted for our system and Horry is a good vet who can come and start if needed and van exel prob wont be in the game next year so its just a cap guy. after its all said and done the roster will explain itself.
