SS: Well we have big plans for all of our draft picks.
Thaddues we plan on using in a combo forward role. He is an incredible athlete who should excell in our up tempo offensive plan. He is a lefty which makes him extremely difficult to guard for a lot of players. He has a pretty nice outside shot that we feel that we can improve even more. Defensively we think that his length and quickness will make him an excellent defensive player. Thaddeus is a guy with unlimited potential who will have plenty of time to learn from veterans like Paul Pierce and Gerald Wallace. We have big plans for him though.
Morris Almond is a tremendous scorer who reminds us a lot of a young Michael Redd. I thought that he was an absolute steal at #24! We were strongly considering picking him at #18, but Thaddeus fell a little so we decided to go with him. In the end we got both guys that we wanted. Morris is an NBA ready player who can fill it up from outside, we felt that along with Kevin and Marco Belinelli that he was one of the top 3 shooters in the draft. We need to work a little on his defense, but he is going to get playing time here as a rookie.
Jared Dudley is a guy that we are also really high on. He provides great energy and we felt that is something that this team lacked last year. He is a glue guy. Every great team over the years have had great glue guys. Jared is not a great athlete, but as I said, he makes up for it with his energy. He played the 4 in college and will play more of the 3 in the NBA, so we think it will take a little time for him to develope, but we feel that he will be ready to be a major contributor very soon.
Carl Landry is a guy that we were trying to trade up in the 2nd round to get. He luckily just fell to us at #40. He was a great college player who fell because he is a little bit undersized. He is just a guy who is a solid overall offensive player. He needs some work on defense, but we feel that we can fix that.

your salary is over 90 million... fans are not happy that ticket prices are a league high because of this... what is your response to such a high salary figure?

Well here is the lineup as of right now...
C- Tyson Chandler PF- Kevin Durant SF- Paul Pierce SG- Joe Johnson PG- Allen Iverson 6th- Gerald Wallace 7th- Paul Millsap 8th- Monta Ellis 9th- Erick Dampier 10th- Thaddeus Young 11th- Morris Almond 12th- Jared Dudley IR- Keith Bogans IR- DJ Mbenga IR- Carl Landry
this is all subject to change though after we see what everyone can do during summer league as well as during the preseason. We may end up not signing Landry this season if we decide to keep Nick Collison, we also have the draft rights to Bobby Jones, all of those players will be fighting for roster spots.

Well, the fans will not be complaining when they get a chance to see their team win it all this year.

What are the Bulls going to be doing in Free Agency? With few holes to fill and little money to spend should we be surprised by any more big time trades this off season? With that being said, what would you imagine your greatest weakness will be?

John Paxson: Well like you said we do have limited roster space. If we do decide to add anyone else we will probably just own the draft rights to Carl Landry and not pick him up till next year. As far as trades go... you never know! If the right deal comes along, we are not afraid to pull the trigger on a deal. Right now though, I would say that unless a deal for another superstar comes around, we will probably stay put with this roster.

So what position do you see yourself weak in? Also do you think a team that has an efficient offense, much like that of San Antonio in real life would be able to slow down your team?

I guess power players would be my biggest weakness. The only real power players that I have are Dampier, Millsap, and arguably Chandler. I really don't feel that there are any weaknesses in my lineup other than that.
