I think we are going to have a player agent to solve that. We already have a guy in mind.

Kind of. We have a committee room which we post in and we talk frequently.

so how is this going to work, will we negotiate with the player agent from the start or is he here just to settle the problem of if two teams bid the max.

trying to solve that quickly, but nobody else is on.
2 options - committee will break any multiple offer ties. or i will work as a player agent, and instead of posting offers on the board, you PM me them and they are unknown to other teams, ill give the player to the highest bidder after 36 hours, or if theirs a tie i'll either settle it myself or bring it to the committee

i dislike the second option, because even in the NBA teams know what other teams are bidding on free agents. I think we should make it so that each team that has the same offer has to give either the committee or the league a few good reasons that the player would fit better on their team. then let the committee or the league decide

Important League News: Free Agency will take place like it did last year. If you want, you can offer the same contract that someone else did, and then the league committee (myself, nets, dallas, blazers, denver) will vote on which team they will go to, using things such as Chances of winning a championship and playing time the player will receive will come in to factor. Free agency is set to begin tomorrow at 4:30. Any questions?

For next offseason: 16/30 teams on here want a change for next year. There will be one. It looks like the option that was winning was "If you are over the cap, you can only resign your Restricted Free Agents" with no penalty, otherwise you must use your MLE. I think this is a good idea for the league, will make the teams come closer together, talentwise, in theory. There will not be a hard cap limit, but teams over the cap can not resign their unrestricted free agents unless they use the MLE. Anything else need to be addressed?
