i believe the best idea proposed so far is detroits idea of a hard cap. it'll make gms have to make tough decisions. The going over the cap to sign only restricted players isnt a compromise either. Why should Miami lose Billups, but San Antonio keep Lebron & Wade simply b/c billups isnt a restricted free agent?
The hard cap seems to be the most logical / best way to ensure this league continues

The league will not be switching teams or going to a fantasy draft. Even though the fantasy draft won, it was not overwhelming enough to throw away everything we have going on here. If you want, you can always leave and join a fantasy draft, but we'd like to keep you all around.

Maybe I will do another poll so we can resolve this free agency situation while it is still early in the season, so people can make any neccessary trades. What should to options be?

Do we really need to do it again? I mean we just did exactly that last offseason and only what 2, 3 teams have changed owners

I mean we just did exactly that last offseason and only what 2, 3 teams have changed owners I meant should we have a poll of whether or not to go with an offseason with a hard cap (can't resign anyone if you are over it) or with a cap that allows you to only resign RFA plus have the MLE?

ok what would we make the options? 1. can only exceed cap to resign RFA 2. hard cap 3. Two tiered hard cap
any other ones?

What about my idea of the medium cap, that you can pass that to resign UFA. Like this: Soft Cap: $60,000,000 Medium Cap: $66,000,000 Hard Cap: $72,000,000 those numbers arent important. but the rules are you can resign your own UFA up to $66,000,000 in cap, and you can resign your own RFA up to $72,000,000 in cap. Every team from (if we used these numbers) $55,000,000 to $67,000,000 gets the MLE.

Seattle Supersonics haven't been on in a while, I might consider finding a new GM

Seattle Supersonics haven't been on in a while, I might consider finding a new GM I hate to say this, but you might want to find a new Boston, it says he's been on recently, but he hasn't posted in almost 4 months, and all his stuff is way out of date.

I've been thinking about that too, he hasn't made a move in forever either, he even let Mike James and Bonzi Wells walk
